Clay Creation: Love Kitty

I spend time making clay creation again.. But I think I still need a long way to go.. hahaha. Still do not know how to smooth the clay.. :( Anyone got any tips?

Hahaha, I tried to mix and make a brown color but end up with gray instead. Below are some of the 'creation' I created. Hope can still see what the creation are la.. hahahaha..
